[BOATERS] Skiing instead of boating?

It has come to my attention that my announcement about the kayaking trip to
Chile may have caused some resentment due to the high monetary cost of the
trip. My intention in posting the trip to the list was simply to try and
find other people to go, since I'd rather go with a group of people I know
rather than by myself. I posted the cost of the trip because I wanted to be
upfront about it and not make people email me and ask, or go to the kayakfu
website and figure it out for themselves. I am sorry if my posting has
angered anyone.
So, I can't seem to find anyone who is able to come along to Chile this
year. If I planned to go Jan-Feb 2008 (next season) so people could save up
and plan for it, would anyone be interested in going?
Now, on to this winter--is anyone interested in a skiing trip out West
sometime in February? I was thinking of taking a week off and spending 4-5
days skiing someplace nice like Whistler, BC, Alta, UT or someplace in
Colorado that has a ton of snow. If there are a few people interested, I
would be willing to take care of all of the logistics. Send me an email if
you are interested, and let me know what kind of snow sport you prefer
(skiing? snowboarding? teleskiing? monoskiing?) and if you have a preference
about where out west you'd like to go.
Cheers,
Crystal
