[BOATERS] Dec 3rd: "Lake" Lesson

Stop procrastinating and start paddling!

Lily and I will be offering a "lake" lesson in the
pool December 3rd (12:15pm-4pm).  If you have never
kayaked before and want to learn or just want a
general skills refresher this is the lesson for you. 
We will be covering basic skills such as forward and
backward strokes, wet exits, bow rescues, general boat
safety etc.  You  need this "lake" lesson and a swim
test to boat with the club so come and enjoy the warm,
clear blue waters of the NAT instead of waiting to do
it on the icy spring waters of lake Mendota.

Please sign up with me via email; make sure you buy a
pool ticket ($5) before you sign up though.  Tickets 
can be purchased at the weekly Tuesday meeting or by
phone at the outing club office (608.262.1630).  We
can only take 6 students because of space limitations,
first come first served.  I will email those in the
lesson with details on when to meet, what to wear and
how awesome this lesson is going to be.
