[BOATERS] Seakayak trip on 4 local lakes

Hey folks,
  
  I’m leading a sea kayak trip on coming Sunday, September 24, on 4 local  lakes: Mendota, Monona, Upper Mud Lake and Waubesa.  We will start  paddling from the boathouse, portage at the locks, and then paddle to  other lakes, they're all connected to each other.  We'll paddle  depending on the group's pace and endurance, but if we do the whole  thing, it'll be a 12-14 miles paddle.
  
  I don't think we'll need wetsuits yet, but I'll keep you posted on that  - tomorrow's gonna be quite cold and it can make the lake cold - it was  still 66F yesterday.  
  
  We will meet at the boathouse at 10:00am.  Hope to be back late afternoon.
  
  Things to bring with:
  
  - Warm when wet clothes. (see me if you need help with this)
  - Dry clothes to change into when we’re done. And a towel.
  - Food for lunch. Be able to bring it in the boat with you.
  - Lots of water.
  - Hoofer’s membership card.
  
  This  trip will be open to SK1’s or higher rating, but I will also allow a  limited number of SK0's.  I’m going to limit the trip size to 8 people,  as long as I am the only trip leader (I'm sure we'll have someone else)   If you have your own boat and gear, please feel free to join us. Just  let me know.
  
  There is no sign up sheet, so you must sign  up by e-mail. When you do, please let me know what your rating is, and your phone number for any last  minute changes.
