[BOATERS] Whitewater canoeing weekend Oct 6-8

A trip on the upper Wisc river near Tomahawk is in the works, pending water safety approval. We will canoe two sections of the river (Wi3 and Wi4 in canoeing N Wisc) with class 1 and 2- rapids (plus Class 2+ Whirlpool rapids that can be avoided with a sneak on the river right side), as well as scenic quiet sections. Car camping at New Woods Cty park along the river Fri and Sat night. R1-OC required and some experience on class 1 rivers such as Badfish Creek or Baraboo recommended, as well as good warm when wet clothing. 
   
  We currently have room for two more canoers for the third canoe that can fit on the cars. River kayakers with an R2 might also be accomodated if you don't mind paddling the slow current in the scenic flowages. We would leave Friday Oct 6 at 5PM, and return Sunday evening.
