Get out your ice skates!

I'll lead a trip to McFarland Ice Arena for their "Day at the Rink," which includes free public skating 12:15-2:15pm.  And if you don't have skates, or at least don't have them with you in Madison, fear not, they're also offering free skate rental.

If you wish, stick around to watch the little ones play (2:30-3:30pm).  I coach youth hockey there and this summer I am helping to teach a skating skills program for 1999 and younger.

Since food must always be part of Hoofer events, I note that there is a Culver's nearby.  Or we could go down to the Green Lantern for a late lunch and a beverage (not the greatest beer selection in the world, but they do have a couple of decent taps, including Optimator).
